HP delights partners with ServiceOne 2.0 Program

HP delights partners with ServiceOne 2.0 Program

Intending to enable partners with an on-ramp to the New Style of IT, expanded lifecycle sales and delivery opportunities, new automation to drive faster sales, and significant margin growth potential, HP has announced the HP ServiceOne 2.0 program.  As customers become increasingly focussed on service and consumption-based pricing models, partners offering both core infrastructures along with hybrid solutions and cloud-based consumption models will be better positioned to deliver the differentiated experience their clients require and capture the explosive growth associated with cloud.

The New Style of IT requires hardware, applications and data to be available 24 hours a day and seven days a week. HP ServiceOne 2.0 enables partners to provide customers with proactive and connected offerings to maximize the business benefit of their IT investment.

HP is also introducing new delivery opportunities for Proactive Care services and Datacenter Care, creating competitive advantage for partners to build profitable business models while creating customers for life.

“HP ServiceOne has provided partners the richest, most inclusive portfolio and services program in the industry, and ServiceOne 2.0 builds on that foundation to create significant opportunities for partners. ServiceOne 2.0 not only helps partners earn more in incremental margin dollars, it also expands relationships with customers and positions them as a trusted advisor,” said Tirthankar Banerjee, Head, Technology Support Services, HP India.

The HP ServiceOne 2.0 program is available now worldwide. Additional program elements are expected to become available to partners over the next 12 months.

HP introduces 3PAR Online Import support for EMC Storage

HP introduces 3PAR Online Import support for EMC Storage

HP(NYSE:HPQ) has introduced HP 3PAR Online Import support for migrating data from EMC VNX(1) and EMC CLARiiONCX4 arrays to HP 3PAR Store Serv Storage, enabling customers to easily and quickly modernize legacy storage infrastructure.

With support for HP EVA Storage and now EMC VNX(1) and CLARiiONCX4 storage systems, customers  can save time and money by performing self-directed platform migrations without professional services engagements or external hardware appliances.

The introduction of virtualization, cloud and IT-as-a-Service workloads into the data center adds unpredictable demands on legacy storage, compromising an organization’s ability to be agile and efficient. Additionally, moving to a new storage system often requires resource-intensive planning, change management and data migration.

“IT managers are challenged to increase business agility and efficiency but are constantly held back by gaps in fragmented and complex legacy storage systems. HP 3PAR StoreServStorage delivers features not available on EMC VNX and now we are removing the data migration roadblock to enable affordable tier-I storage for trapped EMC customers,” said Barun Lala, Director, Storage, HP India.

HP 3PAR Online Import software is included at no charge for 180 days with the HP 3PAR OS Suite, version 3.1.2 MU2 and later. HP 3PAR Online Import support for EMC VNX(1) and EMC CLARiiON CX4 arrays will be available in June at no additional cost, and will be included as part of the 3PAR……..See More
