Sunil Dutt has marked an end to his career with HP PSG and joins Blackberry to head its India business. Before his resignation to HP India, he was serving as the Vice-President & General Manager of HP PSG division. May 30th would be his last working day at HP.
In an earlier statement released, HP India said that PSG is on a look out for a replacement for Sunil and the new head will soon be announced to the media.
Sunil Dutt joined as the head of HP PSG in November 2009, replacing Ravi Swaminathan. He is accredited with making several changes in the HP PSG distribution. Prior to HP, Dutt has worked for some of the renowned brands in the country like Samsung, Nokia, Barista, Whirlpool, Wipro and Philips, holding distinguished positions.
Though Sunil Dutt is unavailable for comments, strong career prospects can be cited as one of the reasons for him to quit HP.
