RGS was primarily offering Design and Detailed engineering consultancy services globally for reinforcement steel, concrete and structural steel. Consultancy was also offered for Shop fabrication and management of steel in the construction sites. RGS is now offering software products for “Saving Steel ” in the Infrastructure, Industrial and Real Estate Construction projects. RGS’s global head quarters is in Chennai and has an office in U.K.
RGS REBAR, the detailing software is being used by Tamilnadu Polytechnics’s as a part of their Syllabus. RGS is also launching an Indigenous 3D modeling CAD system for “Building Information Modeling “(BIM), in the early 2012. RGS is targeting to sell its steel saving, Detailed engineering software products to more than 300,000 Contractors/Builders/Engineering consultants across India. RGS is launching an ADP (Authorized Dealer Partner) program PAN India and is looking out for appointing dynamic partners who are interested to participate in a large size software market with an estimated potential of 75 Billion Rupees.
Acronis has hired Alex Pinchev as President and Chief Executive Officer. Pinchev will join Acronis on January 17, 2012 and replaces Jason Donahue who has served as Chief Executive Officer since 2008. Pinchev has served as a Member of the Acronis Board of Directors since November 2010, and will continue to serve on the Board of Directors as the Chief Executive Officer appointee.

Samsung India has flagged off its new social campaign – Samsung ‘Wheels of Hope’ Project – the Company’s endeavor to spread knowledge on new age technology products and the world of the internet to students from the lesser privileged sections of society. Flagged off by J. S. Shin, President & CEO Samsung South West Asia in the presence of young students, the Samsung Wheels of Hope bus started it journey to reach out to students studying in around 35 MCD and government-aided schools in Delhi/ NCR region between now and December 2011.
The Samsung Wheels of Hope bus, which is a converted computer lab with Samsung Notebooks /netbooks and tablets, gives these children their first exposure to the world of computers and the power of the internet .The children are also given a hands-on experience with the Samsung laptops and tablets in the bus .The Company will be scheduling morning and evening sessions for the students at their school premises and the Company hopes to reach out to around 7500 students in the first phase of the program .
