The trade body representing the Indian Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) industry, IESA (India Electronics and Semiconductor Association) has extended full support to the Government of India towards the launch of “Digital India” campaign. The trade and industry body has applauded Hon’ble Minister of Communications & Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad’s agenda to promote electronics manufacturing in a big way and invitation to entrepreneurs to “Make in India”.
“We appreciate the Government of India’s Digital India programme and its huge thrust on the Electronics Development Fund which will give impetus towards inclusive growth in the areas of electronic services, products, manufacturing and job opportunities and call to reduce dependence on imports.
