Finally, Fujifilm X100S & X20 cameras see dawn in India

Finally, Fujitsu’s X series cameras, the X100s & X20 in the premium compact segment have come to India. While the X100S is a high-speed successor to the X100 with AF of 0.08 seconds, X20 inherits its high-precision lens and refined design, featuring performance over X10.

The X100S features Fujifilm’s newly-developed 16.3 million pixels APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor with randomized, colour filter arrangement, making the sensor’s performance comparable to full-frame output. With built-in Phase Detection, the X100S offers the AF speed of just 0.08 seconds. The Hybrid AF can switch to Contrast AF, dependent on the demands of subject or scene, to ensure that the camera always auto-focusses quickly and with precision.

Making use of the in-built phase detection pixels for AF action, the X100S is a camera to offer a “Digital Split Image” feature, which displays dual images on the left and right to be lined up for manual focusing.

On the other hand, X20 is also packed full with Fujifilm’s latest technology such as X-Trans CMOS II sensor, EXR Processor II and newly-developed Advanced Optical Viewfinder with real- time shooting data for a bright view. The X20 is available in both black and two-tone black and silver. The X20 features the newly-developed 12 million pixels 2/3-inch X-Trans CMOS II sensor. The sensor’s sensitivity is coupled with the processor’s signal processing capacity to reduce noise.

FUJIFILM releases FinePix HS50EXR Camera

Fujifilm India has added another dimension to its category of “superzoom” bridge cameras with the launch of FinePix HS50EXR. With a high-precision manual zoom of a massive 42x that translates into a focal length range of 24mm – 1,000 mm, the new FinePix HS50EXR is an all-in-one high-speed performer with an ability to capture images with good quality. It offers focal lengths which would require several different lenses on a DSLR.

FUJIFILM India has launched a unique Social Media campaign called Indian Photography League. It is aimed at photography enthusiasts to contribute their photographs on the monthly themes. FUJIFILM has introduced new FinePix SL300. The camera features 14-mega pixel CCD sensor with sensor-shift image stabilization, a 30x optical zoom with a focal range of 24-720mm, 720p HD video at 30fps, a bright 3-inch 460k dot LCD screen, faster start-up, improved auto-focus speed and an upgraded response time.

After the success of X-Pro1 digital cameras, FUJIFILM has announced a new line of FUJINON XF lenses which includes two lenses, a bright F2.8 super wide 14mm (21mm in 35mm equivalent) single focal length lens and a bright F2.8-4 zoom lens that covers the shooting range of 18mm to 55mm (27-83mm in 35mm equivalent), in addition to the three single focal length lenses in the first series of FUJINON XF Lenses.

FUJIFILM India is all set to explore the social media platform with well accomplished presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest keeping pace with the digital and socially driven society.

 

With an online contest, “Summer Break Toh Bantaa Hai”, on Facebook, FUJIFILM India gained the much waited breakthrough on the social media platform. The contest was designed to recognize the best summer holiday pictures, taken by the fans on the facebook page of FUJIFILM India. The participants shared more than 1000 pictures on the page. They uploaded their personal Summer Holidays pictures under five categories – Wow Location, Cute Couple, Awesome Friends, Best Family and Naughty Kid.

Fujifilm has launched FinePix S2980, a super zoom bridge camera in the Indian market that aims to explore the broad possibilities of wide angle photography. This camera features 14 mega pixels, CCD sensor, 28mm wide angle, 18x Fujinon optical zoom and a large 3.0” LCD screen along with HD movie capture.

 

“We have improved in-camera processing in FinePix S2980. With this enhanced feature, uploading pictures/movies to Facebook or YouTube will be easy as you can start the process in your camera by tagging the images you want to share.
