During their visit to Brazil, Cisco recognized their efforts by felicitating all the winners at a grand awards ceremony in Rio de Janeiro. A further 150 partners received prizes ranging from Bose Home Theatre Systems, LG 32″ HD 3D LED TVs, Sony HD Camcorders, Canon DSLR Cameras, to Samsung Galaxy S2 Phones.
Arun Dharmalingam, Vice-President, Partner Led Velocity & Distribution Sales, Cisco India & SAARC, said, “Cisco is a partner-driven organization and the way we engage with our partners defines our success. To ensure that our partners deliver the best solutions to customers and augment our reach across various market segments, it is important for us to introduce exciting and unique partner programmes and promotions to motivate and enable partners. All our previous incentive programmes were well received; ‘Race to Rio’ exceeded our expectations and is one of the most successful programmes we have ever introduced. During the programme period, we saw a 90% increase in coverage and over 50% increase in run rate Point of Sale business. This success is a direct result of our partners’ commitment and I would like to thank all of them for their continued support.”
