Bhubaneswar tops the list for Smart City Mission

These 20 cities will be the first to receive funds, thus kick-starting the process of developing them into ‘smart cities’. Shortlisting of the smart cities is a culmination of intense efforts from the government and multiple stakeholders. Orange to acquire Airtel’s operations in Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone

orange-airtel-logoOrange and Bharti Airtel International (Netherlands) BV on Wednesday signed an agreement by which Orange will acquire the latter’s operations in Burkina Faso and Sierra Leone.

“Orange will acquire 100 per cent of the two companies’ share capital,” Airtel said in a statement.
