InfoComm appoints UK Task Force

The future development of the UK audiovisual industry will be at the top of the agenda for InfoComm’s new UK Task Force. Appointed for a year’s term by the InfoComm International Board of Directors, the UK Task Force will develop, investigate, formally research and address issues affecting the UK audiovisual industry.

Greg Jeffreys, President, InfoComm International, said, “The formation of the UK Task Force is a sign that the UK has got to a certain point, maturity and critical mass and we have appointed some key figures to manage and drive that growth locally.”

The UK Task Force comprises a diverse mix of industry professionals, including integrators, distributors, manufacturers, end-users and consultants. Chairing the UK Task Force is Frank Sheehan, Director of Technology at independent media and technology consultancy, Visual Acuity.

The UK Task Force participants will deliver a webinar on 23rd May highlighting the task force mission, initiatives to promote involvement in a UK survey, and to answer any questions that arise.

“I am delighted to be chairing the UK Task Force which specifically will look at how InfoComm defines its membership and how we can add value locally, in addition to the services already offered by InfoComm International which are designed to excite and benefit the industry as well as to widen its appeal to younger and new audiences,” said Sheehan.
