Xerox launches a slew of ConnectKey enabled MFPs in India

Xerox India(NYSE:XRX) has introduced a series of multifunction printers (MFPs) enabled with  the new Xerox ConnectKey controller  that is designed to simplify how work gets done. The newly introduced WorkCentre 7800 and 5800 ConnectKey MFP series is enabled with embedded security protection from McAfee, giving IT managers more control and peace of mind in “bring your own device” (BYOD) workplaces. These devices also have an extra layer of security with Cisco’s TrustSec that protects data paths to and from the devices.

Xerox ConnectKey MFPs offer mobile printing and scanning solutions that integrate fully with cloud-based technologies and mobile devices. These devices provide the benefits of enhanced convenience, increased productivity and a more cost-effective infrastructure. These devices also come loaded with features such as scan to editable format, cost control by managing power consumption and user’s permission for printing, single touch scanning and enhanced and simpler user interface.

Samsung has launched its new range of printers. The new launches cover the entire spectrum with models catering to entry-level single function, entry-level multifunction and midrange multifunction segments.

“Users are continuously looking for easier and cost-efficient printing solutions, without compromising on printing speeds or quality. Our new range of printers offer simple, eco-friendly and easy-to-use functionality to deliver high-quality, yet cost-effective printing solutions,” stated Ranjit Yadav, Country Head, Mobile & IT, Samsung India.

ML-2161/XIPprinters are equipped with Samsung’s one-touch Print Screen button. While holding a standard 150-A4 sheet capacity with 20ppm printing speed, the ML-2161 laser printer series is 22% smaller than conventional 150-sheet A4 laser printers.

SCX-3401/XIP has been designed to be as economically sound. The One Touch Eco Button allows the MFP to operate in Eco mode. In addition, the SCX-3401 series are equipped with Samsung’s Easy Eco Driver solution. Moreover, users can print up to 8 slides/pages onto 1 single page to increase the cost saving attributes of the SCX-3401 series. Powered by a fast 433 MHz core processor with up to 128MB memory, the devices can print up to 20 A4 pages per minute.

SCX-4021 series multifunction laser printers (MFP) incorporates the Toner Save Mode that allows users to use less toner on each page extending the yield of the 3,000 pages standard toner cartridge by up to 30%. Moreover, the SCX-4021MFP laser printer series hold a standard 250-A4 sheet capacity with 24ppm printing speed and is up to 23% smaller than conventional 250-sheet A4 MFP laser printers.

HP announces “Refresh Offer” for Designjet Printers

HP announces

HP has announced a “Refresh Offer” for its Design Jet customers in India.  The programme will allow the existing customers of Design Jet or comparable A3-size printers to trade up to the Multi-Functional Design Jet range.

 

The programme allows customers to avail rebate of up to INR50,000 on exchange of their old printer with world-class HP Designjet T2300 e-Multi Function Printer, DSJ T790 and DSJ T1300 e-Printer series. The offer is valid until December 31, 2011.
