Epson redefines its Full HD Projector Range with new features

samba-moorthy-epson-300x300In addition to improved brightness and contrast ratio specifications, the EH-TW5300 is the entry-level full-HD projector in the Epson’s range to introduce several advanced features that used to be found only in Epson’s high-end home theatre models. These include frame interpolation, image enhancement and 2D to 3D conversion.

The EH-TW5300 also has 3D projection features that have made Epson renowned for its 3D-image quality. These include its 3LCD technology and an active, 480Hz 3D drive system that is twice as fast as competitors – together, these render 3D images with high colour brightness. Epson unveils 3D Home Theatre Projector – EH-TW8200 in India

Epson has announced expansion of its 3D home theatre projectors lineup with the launch of EH-TW8200.  Featuring a contrast ratio of 600,000:1, EH-TW8200 comes equipped with a zoom range of 2.1X that allows for a sharp focus and with the native resolution of 1920 x 1080.

The projector also features a 47-per cent horizontal shift, a category first, presenting users with an extensive range of projector placement possibilities. For the viewers to stay focussed on the screen without any air or noise distracting them, the projector is enhanced with front exhausts.

The projector is packed with features including the “picture in picture” function that replaces the “split screen” function of its predecessor, the EH-TW8100. Using the picture-in-picture mode, users can project two images simultaneously wherein a subpicture can be displayed at any corner of the screen, at the top-right, the top-left, the bottom-left, or the bottom-right inside the main picture.

Epson launches new AIO Printers in India

Epson launches new AIO Printers in India

Epson India has launched the next-generation of its most affordable entry-level all-in-one inkjet printers which are designed to save users running costs with their affordable supplies.

The new all-in-one printers launched are: Epson Expression ME-101 All-in-One (AIO) and Epson Expression ME-301 All-in-One (AiO) that have Wi-Fi and use Epson DURABrite Ultra ink.

These new printers will replace Epson’s Stylus TX121 All-in-One and are also the first models to bear Epson’s new “Expression” branding that will be used for future Epson printers designed for home use.

Using Epson’s proprietary Micro Piezo print head technology, the new printers have a maximum print resolution of 5760 X 1440 for smooth gradations for both grayscale and colour documents and photos and a high print speed of 24 pages per minute (ppm) in mono printing and 13 ppm in colour printing under their ink-saving draft mode…..See More

Epson ships 80 Millionth HTPS Panel

Epson has shipped a total of 80 million high-temperature polysilicon (HTPS) TFT liquid crystal panels for 3LCD projectors, enough for more than 26.5 million projector units.

Epson has launched its new series next-generation ultra-short throw interactive projectors – the Epson EB-485Wi / 475Wi and the Epson EB-485W/ 475W.

The new Epson EB-485Wi / 475Wi are said to be intelligent, interactive ultra-short throw projectors that allow teachers and business presenters to conveniently turn any standard whiteboard or smooth surfaces into an interactive learning and presentation area. To achieve this, they feature a digital infrared pen that allows users to write with “virtual ink” on the projected area, manipulate interactive onscreen objects and features, or use them as a computer mouse. This innovative tool delivers a cost-effective solution for presenters to easily use its interactive capabilities and eliminates the need to purchase and install cumbersome dedicated interactive whiteboards.

Epson has launched two new series of projectors that include EB-Z8000 series and EB-Z10000 series.

These projectors feature high brightness of up to 10,000 lumens, resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and high contrast ratio of 5,000:1 along with Epson Cinema Filter, a Faroudja DCDi video processing chip, Super-resolution technology and Frame Interpolation.

Epson’s “WorkForce”Series unveiled

Epson has launched the first “WorkForce” branded series of printers designed for small to medium business use. The first two models of the new series are the Epson WorkForce WF-7011 colour A3 single function printer, and the Epson WorkForce WF-7511 – which is Epson’s first-ever A3 inkjet all-in-one printer. 

 

The Epson WorkForce printers use Epson’s high-capacity 143 DURABrite Ultra pigment inks that offer an extremely low 0.75 paise cost per A4 page(2) for monochrome printing and Rs.2.10 per A4 colour page for colour prints.  In addition to a standard USB 2.0 interface, the printers have built-in Ethernet, and Wi-Fi. Furthermore, the Epson WorkForce WF-7511 has a high performance, fax, as well as memory card slots and USB ports which users can print image or PDF files from, or scan items to. The printers can also print photos and documents from Apple iOS or Android devices through Apple Airprint, Epson iPrint; or from cloud services like Google cloud print apps and Evernote.
