Xerox conducts raids to stop sale of counterfeit and illegal aftermarket printer supplies

In fact, The Imaging Supplies Coalition estimates about $3.5 billion are lost to counterfeit products worldwide in the imaging supplies industry. In response, Xerox has conducted a string of raids, product seizures and trademark enforcement actions to protect customers from the hazards of counterfeit supplies.

“Fake cartridges are known to fail at a very high rate, causing poor image quality and costly damage to vital printer components. Xerox announces its plans to expand MPS Solutions in India

This will be undertaken through their strong channel partner network and will allow the company to significantly expand the reach of its advanced MPS solutions beyond the top corporate accounts to fast-growing and large potential SMB businesses.

Xerox expands DocuShare Content Management service

Xerox DocuShare has expanded its enterprise content management offering by introducing a one-stop scan-to-workflow solution, Xerox ConnectKey for providing new and easy ways for employees to access and manage paper and digital content wherever they are.

Xerox ConnectKey for DocuShare can simplify the process of incorporating hard copy content into enterprise document flows. Users can easily scan documents directly into a DocuShare collection or Windows folder via a Xerox ConnectKey or Xerox Extensible Interface Platform-enabled multifunction printer (MFP) simply by entering document information at the device.

DocuShare Mobile further extends and simplifies business process automation – allowing workers to access, search, view, download and share documents stored in DocuShare from their iOS mobile device, significantly improving on-the-go efficiency.

Xerox launches a slew of ConnectKey enabled MFPs in India

Xerox India(NYSE:XRX) has introduced a series of multifunction printers (MFPs) enabled with  the new Xerox ConnectKey controller  that is designed to simplify how work gets done. The newly introduced WorkCentre 7800 and 5800 ConnectKey MFP series is enabled with embedded security protection from McAfee, giving IT managers more control and peace of mind in “bring your own device” (BYOD) workplaces. These devices also have an extra layer of security with Cisco’s TrustSec that protects data paths to and from the devices.

Xerox ConnectKey MFPs offer mobile printing and scanning solutions that integrate fully with cloud-based technologies and mobile devices. Xerox India(NYSE:XRX) has introduced new multi-function printers (MFPs) in the A3 and A4 categories for small- and medium-sized organizations. The company is bullish about strengthening its position in the SMB sector and has developed an aggressive go-to-market strategy for tapping this segment across top 200 cities in the country.

Xerox has introduced advanced, high performance-oriented, mono MFP, WorkCentre 5019 and 5021 in the A3 category. These printers offer extreme durability, reliability and consistent output quality throughout a large volume.

Xerox India strengthens foothold in Eastern India

Xerox India has strengthened its presence in the state of Orissa and rolled out a roadshow in the “Temple City” of Bhubaneswar last week. The event part of the company’s go-to-market channel activation plan for 2011, for the volume business received overwhelming response and was attended by over 120 resellers and partners spanning the state of Orissa.  Xerox also showcased a strong portfolio of solutions in A4 mono and colour lasers targeted at SMEs and enterprise businesses.
